Founded by USAA, Face the Fight is a coalition of corporations, foundations, nonprofit and veteran-focused organizations joined together to raise awareness and support for veteran suicide prevention. Our mission is to break the stigmas surrounding suicide in order to open conversation and support around the topic. Facing the reality of veteran suicide is a struggle. But when people face this fight together there is hope.
The Strategic Alliance for Veteran Integration (SAVI) is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to helping Veterans thrive post-separation. SAVI helps transitioning service-members navigate their VA benefits entitlement and post-transition goals by providing services and proprietary programs, including a first-of-its-kind military transition assistance program that applies the latest best practices in business and offers custom support to each transitioning service-member.
The mission of the Elizabeth Dole Foundation is to strengthen & empower military and veteran caregivers, their families, and their communities by identifying and addressing their key challenges through health & wellness services, platforms for peer support, respite care programs, and more, striving to ensure every caregiver receives the recognition, support, and respect they deserve.
The Valkyrie Project exists to help enhance military women's performance by supporting research in women's fitness initiatives. The organization also provides workout training to service members.
The Service Women's Action Network (SWAN) exists to advocate for the individual and collective needs of service women across all branches of the U.S. military.

Victor + Valor empowers the U.S. military and their families to become successful
entrepreneurs. Victor + Valor® is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving the U.S. Military and their families living the American entrepreneurial dream by offering community, consulting, training, and branding/marketing services free of charge.
AMSE® (Association of Military Spouse Entrepreneurs®) connects Military Spouse entrepreneurs with the tools and resources needed to become successful in launching and growing their businesses. AMSE® is an exclusive community for Military Spouse Entrepreneurs to start, scale, and sustain their business; an exclusive space for Military Spouses who want to take their future into their own hands, on their terms.
The Veterans Business Outreach Center (VBOC) program offers resources to veterans, service members, and military spouses who are interested in starting or growing a small business. There are 28 VBOC centers nationwide to provide support and many services are completely free or low cost.
Family Advocacy
Members in uniform aren't the only ones who serve. Military kids "serve" through the sacrifice of time away from their active-duty parent(s).

Military families face immense challenges, from frequent relocations to extended separations. One of the most critical and pressing issues is access to, high-quality childcare. The Operation Child Care ProjectTM (OCCP) addresses this need by providing life changing support to military families through tailored childcare solutions, advocacy, and education.
The National Military Family Association (NMFA) is the leading 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to serving all military families. Since 1969, NMFA has worked with families to identify and solve the unique challenges of military life. These “challenges” include but are not limited to food insecurity, trouble acquiring affordable & accessible childcare, military spouse unemployment and underemployment, and reported low well-being among military teens and young adults.
Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) is the national nonprofit organization providing compassionate care and comprehensive resources to all those grieving a death in the military or veteran community. Since 1994, TAPS has provided comfort and hope 24/7 through a national peer support network and connection to grief resources, all at no cost to surviving families and loved ones.
The Gary Sinise Foundation serves our nation by honoring our defenders, veterans, first responders, their families, and those in need. This is achieved by creating and supporting unique programs designed to entertain, educate, inspire, strengthen, and build communities.
The USO strengthens America’s military service members by keeping them connected to family, home and country, throughout their service to the nation.
Luke’s Wings provides emergency travel planning services and airplane tickets for the families and loved ones of wounded, ill, and injured service members, veterans, and fallen officers, during hospital recovery and rehabilitation.
Support for Military Spouses
An affiliate of the Institute for Military & Veteran Family Wellness at The University of Texas at Austin, the Veteran Spouse Network (VSN) is a network of support for military and veteran spouses and families through peer support, educational information, and community connection, to ensure families are supported at each stage of their military community journey.
The National Military Spouse Network (NMSN) is a private, non-profit organization that advocates for the needs and professional advancement of military spouses. The NMSN offers a variety of resources, such as professional development mentoring and networking opportunities. Though the military lifestyle can be unpredictable, the NMSN believes a rewarding career is achievable for service member spouses.

Self-Care & Wellness
Free Life provides an alternative approach to addiction recovery through peer support, storytelling, and community engagement. We help people sustain their sobriety and lead a free, full, and fun life doing it. We cultivate community engagement through our EVENTS that create a safe substance-free environment for those in recovery, their support system or anyone looking for a drug and alcohol-free event.
